Prompt: what completely changed your home

Hand in hand,
night and silence roam the streets,
like lovers,
who exist only
when no one's looking.

Prompt: an old place you visited the first time
Such a stone giant,
standing tall and proud before me.
I was just an eight-year-old girl.
Notre-Dame de Paris,
a grand old lady
who left me in awe.

A city’s first New Year’s morning is mine.
I run through the empty woods,
while everybody’s still asleep.
No noise.
No voices.
Just my footsteps,
my breath,
and a quiet sense of fulfillment.

It was a simple joke,
a ripple of irony,
but
it touched a sacred ground
for her.
She felt it like a storm
and that was the end of us.

Hey all! Thanks for your patience while I reformatted scheduling and topics. This is the schedule, starting Feb 26th. Attendance/homework isn't mandatory, though obviously would lead to maximum benefit for participants. Should you have any questions, please reach out!

Mourning doves 🕊️
Sing their pleasant song
Fly over and bequeath my nostalgia
reassurance from my cracked open window
Be still
They tell me
It’s going to be alright
The real change was me.
For the first time in my life
I owned a house. Now
I live in my place.
And everything feels
like night and day.
