What Is The Collective Residency?

The Collective Residency 2023 is a three-day residency for 2 women-identifying poets held in Columbus, Ohio, from Friday, December 8th, through Sunday, December 10th.

During that time, writers are able to work on a project of their choosing. On Saturday evening, they will each give a 20-minute featured reading to showcase their current or past work, which will be open to the community and will also be recorded for the diVERSES platform.

Upon acceptance, 2 women-identifying poets will be selected to stay in the space (see below for accommodation information).

The first poet, The Collective Residentmust be a poet of color and will receive a $200 stipend for their work.

A second poet, The Visiting Collective Resident, will not receive a stipend but will stay in the same space during the residency for free.

No other guests or outside visitors are permitted in the space.

We are not taking applications for the December Residency at this time; any submissions would be taken as donations
