Brick & Mortar: Poetry For The Passerby

Welcome to Columbus, Ohio's only physical poetry journal. In truth, we might be the only poetry publication to say this: we are not a print journal, and we are not an online journal either.
We publish our poetry on the window of our poetry venue, the Stanza, at 15 N Westmoor. Poems are changed monthly, with a focus on pieces that can be speak to people on walks, errands, and windowshopping in the community. Each issue consists of two poems that have been previously published elsewhere.
With our unique form, there is advice to give for submissions: consider the audience. We are giving poetry to dog walkers, shoppers, parents with strollers, and people getting out of their cars. These are people who have no idea they are about to encounter poetry. Consider this audience when submitting--it may affect the length of what you submit, the topic matter (generally aiming for more family-friendly in terms of cussing, but otherwise relatively open) and format.
If you have a poem you would like to be considered for a future issue, 1) send a PDF of the poem, 2) a headshot, 3) a note on where the poem was originally published, 4) a 1-2 sentence note to the person walking by, and 5) a 50-word bio to diversespoetry @ gmail.com
